Dance of Life Midwifery is a midwifery practice in Traverse City, Michigan. Founded in 1995 by Kathi Mulder, LM, CPM, the practice transitioned to new ownership in 2022 under a Michigan-licensed midwife who was trained at the MEAC-accredited Birthwise Midwifery School and under the previous owner and other Northern Michigan midwives. The practice emphasizes the tradition of training students, with all student assistants directly supervised by a licensed midwife. All assistants and students work according to Michigan licensing standards and are trained in Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP).
