    The Problem

    When someone searches for a therapist to help with anxiety, a massage therapist who understands chronic pain, or a fitness coach who works with postpartum bodies—they deserve to find the right person. Instead, they find whoever paid the most to appear first. The wrong match wastes time, money, and emotional energy. The right match can be life-changing.

    What Nusu Is

    Nusu is an honest discovery platform for personal wellness and care. We help people find qualified professionals across six high-trust verticals: beauty, fitness, medical, therapy, mind, and holistic (including faith and spiritual care)—ranked by relevance and qualifications, not advertising spend.

    We will never accept payment to influence search results. This is not a policy we are testing. It is a principle we are building the company around.

They are the domains where finding the right person matters most—and where advertising-driven discovery does the most harm. These are high-trust decisions about your body, your mind, your health, your appearance, and your spiritual well-being. They deserve a discovery system built for trust, not ad revenue.

    True Equal Footing

    Solo practitioners compete on the same terms as established businesses. No incumbent advantage, no budget-based visibility. A talented independent massage therapist has the same opportunity to be discovered as a large wellness center—based on verified data, relevance, and the quality of their work.

    Nusu is a verified data layer that brings together business profiles, credentials, service details, and quality signals in one place.

    • Sector Intelligence — Domain-specific taxonomies for wellness, beauty, and spiritual services.
    • Quality Layers — Ratings, reviews, and verifiable details for accuracy and trust.

    Reviews That Tell You Something

    Our standard is that reviews should come from real service experiences. We use invitation workflows, moderation, and anti-fraud signals to reduce fake reviews and paid testimonials, and we are continuing to strengthen verification coverage. Reviews can be submitted as text or video—with video adding a layer of authenticity.

    To encourage more useful reviews, our AI guides users through industry-specific questions and offers a first draft they can keep, edit, or replace entirely. The result: substantive reviews that actually help people make decisions, not one-liners that leave you guessing.

    Data Integrity

    Businesses cannot remove their Nusu presence to escape a history of poor reviews. What you see on Nusu reflects reality, not a curated highlight reel. When you view a practitioner's profile, you are seeing the full picture.

    AI Feature

    Nusu's AI translates verified, structured data into clear, explainable results.

    • Structured taxonomy of business types and specialties
    • Service attributes (e.g., treatments offered, techniques used)
    • Quality signals (e.g., ratings, distance, verified expertise)
    • Context that explains why a business is recommended

    Examples:

    “I need a chiropractor near me that has a rating of 4 stars or higher and specializes in correcting misalignments.”

    “Show me the top-rated hair salons in Miami, FL.”

    “Can you find me a hypnotherapist who specializes in anxiety and has good reviews?”

    Ask AI interprets that intent by filtering providers based on verified attributes and geographic range, then explaining why each match fits.

    Where We Are

    We know that ranking by quality and merit—not advertising spend—is the right approach, and that monetizing through tools and features that bring value to professionals keeps our incentives aligned with the people who use the platform. We also know that as an early-stage platform, we don't yet have the brand recognition or reach of established players — but we're building something they can't easily retrofit: a system where trust isn't compromised by ad revenue.

    We believe this model is something both consumers and professionals genuinely care about. As the platform grows, so does the reach and presence of every professional on it. The practitioners who build their presence on Nusu early grow with us.
