Babylonian Jewish Center is a synagogue and community center in Great Neck founded in 1997 by members of the Iraqi Jewish community as a second Babylonian congregation in the area. Rooted in the traditions of Babylonian Jewish life and the legacy of the Torah scholars of Baghdad, it supports prayer, gathering, education, and communal connection while preserving and promoting the culture, identity, and religious traditions of Babylonian Jewry. Shaped by a multigenerational community, the center carries forward the heritage of the Iraqi Jewish diaspora as a living tradition expressed through spiritual, social, and educational life.
