City of the Dharma Realm is a Buddhist center in West Sacramento, California, established in 1992 by Venerable Master Hsuan Hua, founder of the Dharma Realm Buddhist Association. Situated on a 14.5-acre campus, it occupies a former resort whose buildings have been maintained and adapted for Buddhist use. The center includes a comprehensive training program for Buddhist nuns, classes for those seeking to leave home-life to become nuns, and adult classes for the greater Sacramento community, including meditation and Buddhism.
