Academy of Dance & Gymnastics

Academy of Dance & Gymnastics is a movement training school in Newport News that teaches dance and gymnastics with an emphasis on both technical development and personal growth. For more than four decades, it has offered instruction in ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tumbling, and related disciplines within a supportive but rigorous environment that encourages confidence, concentration, resilience, and teamwork. The academy is led by award-winning teachers and industry professionals, including faculty with college degrees in dance, choreography, and musical theatre, and its competitive program has earned extensive regional and national recognition, including 9 National Dance Champion titles.
