Congregation Kesher Israel is a historic synagogue in Philadelphia and among the oldest Ashkenazic congregations in the United States. Its charter was filed on June 21, 1894. The congregation describes itself as egalitarian and multigenerational, welcoming diversity, spirituality, and community while seeking to make Judaism relevant, meaningful, and joyful. Kesher Israel also offers daily weekday morning minyan led by members of the congregation on Zoom.
