Congregation Shivtei Yeshuron Ezras Israel is a historic synagogue in South Philadelphia, founded in 1876 and chartered in 1892. The congregation has held services in its current building since 1909 and continues to serve the community with Shabbos services on the first Saturday of each month at 10:00 AM. Known as a "Little Shul," it is distinguished by its pillared entrance and reflects the legacy of the row-house synagogues that served Eastern European Jewish immigrants in South Philadelphia. The congregation has also received a City of Philadelphia grant supporting community education and arts.
