ABUNAI MMA

ABUNAI MMA is a martial arts academy in Avondale, Arizona, built around a true mixed martial arts foundation and a culture of respect, consistency, and personal responsibility. Its instruction centers on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and extends across no-gi grappling, wrestling, Muay Thai, judo, MMA, and Filipino martial arts, with striking, takedowns, submissions, and positional grappling taught as interconnected parts of a broader system. The academy emphasizes technical development, practical understanding, and steady progress over time, with training framed as both skill-building and character-building. Its coaching is further grounded in an established Jiu-Jitsu lineage through Professor Eddie Suniga’s degrees under Professor Jay Pages of Jay Pages Jiu-Jitsu and MMA and the Caio Terra Association, while the program continues to evolve with the addition of Stephen in May 2024.
