Gurdwara Sahib of Dayton is a Sikh temple serving Sikh families in Dayton, Beavercreek, Springfield, and surrounding areas from Huber Heights, Ohio. The congregation was formed in July 1984 when about a dozen Sikh families came together as the Sikh Society of Dayton. The gurdwara began by holding monthly prayer services at various locations for nearly two years. In 2013, it employed a full-time Granthi to care for Guru Granth Sahib Ji and support the religious needs of the growing Sikh community. The Sikh Society of Dayton is a federal and state tax-exempt organization under IRS 501(c)(3).
