Mendonca Academy is a traditional martial arts school in McMinnville, Oregon, offering training in Karate-Do, Kobudo, Iaido, and sports conditioning. The academy provides family-friendly classes as well as K-Fit, a high-intensity conditioning program that uses HIIT and functional movement, plus youth SAQ and strength and conditioning classes focused on speed, agility, quickness, and movement fundamentals. Led by Sensei Tony Mendonca, a 6th Dan in Saito-Ha Shito-Ryu with more than three decades of martial arts experience, the academy has also fielded athletes at NKF National Karate Championships and the US Open from 2014 to 2019, earning more than 200 medals.
