Englewood Christian Church is an independent, non-denominational Christian church serving the Greater Englewood and Southside area of Jacksonville, Florida, since 1958. The church began when Christians from North Shore Christian Church who had moved to Jacksonville’s south side started meeting in the Englewood area. Over its history, Englewood has helped start 13 churches, supported the North Florida Christian Service Camp, and spearheaded the beginning of Johnson University Florida, previously known as Central Florida Bible College and Florida Christian College. The church has expressed a desire to grow as a multicultural, multilingual congregation serving the local community and the wider Jacksonville area.
