Chabad of Alabama is a Jewish community center and synagogue in the Birmingham area led by Rabbi Yossi and Mrs. Frumie Posner since 1987. Committed to promoting Jewish pride, study, and celebration, it welcomes every Jew in an inviting, non-judgmental environment. Chabad of Alabama offers Shabbat and holiday programs and is home to the Challah Shoppe, JAHM Chai Tots Preschool, Camp Gan Israel, the Jewish Learning Institute, Torah Time Mikvah, and Friendship Circle programs for children with special needs.
