She earned a Master’s in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley, graduated summa cum laude, and is board certified by the National Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine as a Diplomate in Acupuncture. Her background also includes training in Japanese acupuncture and sports medicine, and participation in a Kaiser Permanente program that brought acupuncture to the emergency room.
