City Church is a Christian church in Traverse City, Michigan, founded by lead pastors Jody and Tonya Carsten. After moving to Traverse City in 2011 to build a launch team, the church officially opened in spring 2013. Its stated mission is to reach, build, and send people with the life-giving gospel, with an emphasis on spiritual growth, equipping people, and encouraging them to impact their communities and the world with hope, purpose, and the love of Christ.
