Granbury Church of Christ is a church in Granbury, Texas, with roots in the Restoration Movement of the late 1800s. The congregation grew out of the Thorp Spring church and its connection to Add-Ran College in the early 1870s. In 1889, the church built a frame building at the southeast corner of Houston and Bluff Street. After a split over worship practices, the Granbury Church of Christ continued as the a cappella congregation, while those favoring instrumental music became the First Christian Church of Granbury. After nearly 60 years downtown, the church moved to its current building on West Pearl Street on June 17, 1973.
