Brattleboro Zen Center is a Soto Zen practice community in Brattleboro, Vermont, founded in 2021. The center offers a supportive communal environment for Zen meditation, or zazen, with an emphasis on awakening as a collective practice. Its leadership includes Hakusho, a Zen priest, meditation teacher, and Sangha leader whose training included time at monasteries and retreat centers in India and Thailand and residence at Green Gulch Farm Zen Center. The center also maintains ethical guidelines grounded in the sixteen Bodhisattva precepts.
