The Islamic Center of Madison is the oldest of the three mosques in the Madison area and serves as a hub for a Muslim community predominantly associated with the University. Originally envisioned and established by university students, it was created as a place to hold the five daily prayers and continues to support a close-knit congregation centered on communal prayer and mutual support.
