DanceMHT is part of Market House Theatre, a Paducah community theatre founded in 1963 that develops and shares the creative potential of people across the region. As part of the theatre’s community arts programming, the organization began groundwork in 2010 for the Next Stage Project to create classrooms for theatre, dance, and music. Based in the historic Market House Building, Market House Theatre operates across 11 historic facilities in downtown Paducah and serves as a longstanding center for theatrical and arts enrichment.
