Aikido Ai of Southern California

Aikido Ai of Southern California is a Whittier martial arts school that teaches Aikido, Tai Chi, Qigong, and Zen as disciplines of skill, character, and personal development. The school follows a classical training approach centered on conflict resolution, awareness, and steady improvement. Its program has been shaped over decades by Sensei Frank McGouirk, 7th dan, Shihan, whose more than 50 years of teaching Aikido and Tai Chi and decades of Zen training inform the school’s long-developed tradition. Supported by a team of high-ranking instructors, Aikido Ai has educated students in Whittier and across Southern California for more than 50 years.
