Chinmaya Mission Portland is a Hindu spiritual center in Hillsboro, Oregon, affiliated with Chinmaya Mission, a movement founded in 1953 by devotees of Swami Chinmayananda in India. Following the guru-sisya tradition, it offers access to the teachings of Vedanta and supports spiritual study and practice. Since moving activities to its Chinmaya Haridwar center in 2014, the organization has also offered Hindi classes for students of different levels and a choir program, Chinmaya Swaranjali, for participants across age groups and musical abilities.
