Fresno Buddhist Church is a Buddhist community and family Dharma center centered on the teachings of Jodo Shinshu Buddhism. Also referred to in its history as the Fresno Buddhist Temple and Fresno Betsuin Buddhist Temple, the organization welcomes everyone and is dedicated to keeping the teachings of the Buddha a meaningful part of life today and in the future. Its roots in Fresno trace back to 1900, with the name Fresno Buddhist Church adopted in 1917.
