Long Beach Islamic Center is a mosque in Signal Hill, California, founded in 2003 and opened to the Long Beach community in 2015. Developed through a community effort led by Sheikh Tariq Mohammed, the center was converted from a former car repair shop into a mosque with a capacity of about 150 people. It provides Juma’a prayer and sermons, Quran and Arabic classes for youth, Muslim family nights, and homemade meals for Muslims and non-Muslims.
