Kid Gloves Boxing

Kid Gloves Boxing is a boxing foundation in Simi Valley, California, with roots tracing back to the mid-1950s through founder Frankie Goodman and the Kid Gloves philosophy of teaching youth the importance of a healthy mind, body, and mutual respect. Robert Ortiz began Kid Gloves Boxing in Simi Valley in the 1990s and initiated the Kid Gloves Foundation in 1997 to support training for low-income and disadvantaged youth. Located at Center Court in the Simi Town Center, the organization provides troubled youth with boxing training and opportunities for personal success during vulnerable stages of their lives.
