Albuquerque Sikh Gurudwara is a Sikh place of worship in Albuquerque founded through local community initiative. In October 2004, fifteen members of the Albuquerque sangat signed a letter of intent to establish the gurdwara, and it was legally incorporated as a nonprofit in New Mexico on December 6, 2004. The congregation approved bylaws in March 2005 and updated them in April 2008 to unify its leadership under an eleven-member board of directors. A milestone in its communal life came on February 10, 2007, when it held its first wedding, reflecting its role in both worship and important life events within the Sikh community.
