Acupuncture & Massage Clinic Inc. is a Cedar Rapids practice that combines East Asian medicine with hands-on bodywork through individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic concerns. Acupuncture is a core service, drawing from Japanese Toyo Hari, Chinese TCM, Tan’s Balance Method, and Master Tung’s Orthodox acupuncture. The clinic also incorporates Chinese herbal medicine, along with nutrition and lifestyle guidance from an Oriental medical perspective. Massage therapy is equally central, with Melinda Collins, a Licensed Massage Therapist in Iowa since 2010, providing tailored therapeutic care that may include orthopedic and shiatsu techniques as well as complementary elements such as aromatherapy, stones, and spa treatments. Since 2018, the clinic has also offered free PTSD treatments to active-duty military members and veterans through its Military and Veteran’s Stress Recovery Clinic project.
