HCMC Acute Psychiatric Services provides 24/7 emergency psychiatric care for people experiencing mental health crises, including psychosis, depression, violence, suicide risk, and other urgent situations. The service accepts walk-ins and referrals, primarily assesses and treats adults age 18 and older, and connects patients to primary psychiatric care, chemical dependency treatment, and crisis residence services.
