Arkansas Academy of Dance is a classical ballet training institute in Little Rock established in 2000. The academy emphasizes rigorous, joyful dance education that develops strong technique while fostering focus, diligence, consistency, self-esteem, and discipline of mind and body. Its approach centers on helping young artists deepen both their physical command of dance and their understanding and enjoyment of the art form. Housed with Arkansas Festival Ballet in a 7,500-square-foot facility, the academy offers three studios and a Black Box Theatre with sub-sprung flooring and marley-covered surfaces designed for instruction and performance.
