Advaita Meditation Center is a nonprofit educational center devoted to the study and practice of nonduality in a contemplative community setting. Meditation is central to its approach, especially mantra meditation, supported by weekly discussion groups, open meditation sessions, formal instruction, weekend retreats, and related programming. Its work emphasizes disciplined practice, reflective inquiry, and thoughtful conversation so that study and meditation continually inform one another. Founded in Boston in 1970 as the Philosophy Foundation, incorporated in 1976, connected with the Sringeri Sharada Peetham in 2005, and renamed in 2008, the center maintains a long-standing commitment to Advaita through experienced instruction, shared practice, and quiet contemplation.
