CrossFit 617 - Dorchester is a CrossFit gym founded in 2013 in the garage of an old auto shop. The gym offers an Elements Program designed to introduce newcomers to CrossFit in a supportive setting. In 2021, after years of community growth, it relocated to a 7,200-square-foot facility on the Neponset River Pathway overlooking the river, with open training space, free weights, a pull-up rig, turf, a lounge area, full locker rooms, and a child care area.
