Evangelical Christian Church is a Christian church in Waterbury, Connecticut, with roots dating to 1969 when a group began gathering in Oakville as Full Gospel Assembly and held its first service in a member's home. Its first service in a member-built building was held in 1977, and that location remained its place of worship until 1984. In the mid-1980s, the church transitioned to English-speaking services, and in May 2006 it became Evangelical Christian Church. The church describes a vision focused on reaching people in spiritual need and reflects a growing variety of nationalities within its congregation.
