Hindu Association of West Texas serves the Hindu community in western Texas. Its mission includes providing a temple for daily pujas, annual festivals, and individual samskaras; conducting ceremonies in devotees' homes; promoting the community's social and cultural wellbeing; educating children, youth, and adults in Hinduism through classes and discourses; and fostering understanding of Hinduism through interfaith and related community events.
