Gurudwara Sikh Sangat Boston is a Sikh congregation founded in December 2005. After initially renting a small shared space in Somerville, the community moved into a larger permanent location in Everett in 2012 with a separate kitchen and langar hall, classrooms, and apartments for visiting religious singers and preachers. The organization describes itself as democratic, with a management committee that organizes events and seva rather than a single religious or lay leader. Its ceremonies center on kirtan, and the sangat also hosts annual observances including a Chhabeel commemorating Guru Arjan Sahib by distributing free drinks to the public in the Boston area.
