Joann's School of Dance is a dance school in Elizabeth, New Jersey, established in 1985 under Director Joann Schoenig. The studio offers dance training for students ranging from those taking class once a week for fun and exercise to more serious dancers. Classes include ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, pointe, hip hop, acrobatic, tumbling, ballroom, and wedding dances. The school emphasizes a caring, professional instructional staff, holds an annual recital in June, and participates in local performances and workshops. Its Star Company competition team has competed nationally and earned multiple awards.
