Dance Express is a community-oriented dance company in Fort Collins, Colorado, dedicated to promoting the art of dance in its various forms. Founded in 1989 by Mary Elizabeth Lenahan, MS, OT, the organization emphasizes inclusive dance and has improved lives through dance both virtually and in person since its founding. Dance Express creates annual dance and dance theatre productions, teaches adaptive modern dance workshops in schools and community centers, and makes regional guest appearances. The company has been recognized for its service and inclusion, including a 2017 Fort Collins Mayor’s Award as Service Provider of the Year.
