Aiken Church of Christ is a Christian congregation in Aiken, South Carolina, with roots dating to November 11, 1951, when it first met in the Masonic Building on Laurens Street. The church grew with the local community, including Christians who moved to the area for work at the Savannah River Plant, and established a permanent home in 1954 with the purchase of a building on Pendleton Street. Through later transitions, including time at the Croft House and moves from Whiskey Road to Rinehart Way, the congregation has shown continuity, resilience, and steady growth. Its ministry includes Community Relations and Benevolence efforts focused on sharing Christ’s love in tangible ways with those in need, alongside a notably strong youth group that reflects the church’s intergenerational vitality and commitment to everyday Christian care.
