Chinese Benevolent Association is a Stockton community organization centered around Confucius Hall, established in 1924 as a focal point for the local Chinese community. Originally serving as the administrative head for family clans and tong associations, it promotes the welfare of the Chinese community and supports awareness and appreciation of Chinese culture. Its hall has hosted social gatherings, cultural events, weekend Chinese movies, drum corps practice, tai chi, kung fu, and Chinese folk dance lessons.
