Daijingu Temple of Hawaii is a Honolulu temple that maintains the religious identity and activities of the Daijingu Kyodan. Its mission is to help people return to the Way of the Kami, described as a life of peace, happiness, and spiritual fulfillment under the guidance of Amaterasu Omikami. The temple enshrines Amaterasu Omikami, the Sun Goddess, along with other revered kami and historical figures including George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, King Kamehameha, and King Kalākaua. It also conducts ceremonies of gratitude and respect for those who sacrificed for the betterment of humanity, and its Memorial Hall honors early Hawaiian pioneers and those who lost their lives in the World Wars.
