Congregation Zichron Chaim is an Orthodox synagogue in University Heights, Ohio, with roots dating to 1975. Founded by area residents seeking an old-world style minyan with strict adherence to the Shulchan Aruch and customs reflecting the founders' European backgrounds, the congregation grew from an office-space minyan and later established its building on South Green Road. In 1986, two shuls merged under the name Zichron Chaim, memorializing Chaim Weisner. The congregation holds Shabbos services in the main auditorium of the Yavneh girls seminary when attendance is expanded by guests and visitors, and it welcomes new members.
