BernieBallroom is a dance studio in New Bern devoted to partner dancing as a welcoming social art. Founded by Bernie Mallon and Ania LeRoy, it offers accessible ballroom instruction for singles, couples, and groups across a range of dance styles. The studio emphasizes warm, inclusive teaching for dancers at many starting points, including preparation for meaningful personal songs and special occasions. Its instruction is informed by real experience in learning, teaching, and competition, while staying focused on the enjoyment, confidence, and community of social dance. BernieBallroom also works with children and teens in group settings, including Quinceañeras and cotillions.
