As-Salaamah Mosque is an Islamic house of worship serving Muslims in Columbus and the broader Central Ohio community. Established in 2010, it supports a congregation of more than 300 families across the city and its suburbs. The mosque’s religious life is rooted in the Qur’an and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad, as understood by the Salafus-Saalih, with an emphasis on established Islamic teachings and practice. It also maintains clear standards around funerary observance, permitting only funeral rituals that align with the Sunnah.
