Chabad of Penn State serves the Jewish community in Happy Valley, including students and faculty at Penn State. For the past 18 years, it has provided events, learning opportunities, and social programs, with its Chabad house described as a home away from home for thousands of Jewish students and faculty. The organization also offers Bar and Bat Mitzvah lessons as an opportunity for children to explore and discover what being Jewish means.
