Cong. Beth Hillel Synagogue is a Jewish congregation in Union, New Jersey. Originally established as the Elmora Hills Minyan and officially incorporated in 1995, the synagogue moved in 1996 to a storefront on Magie Avenue shared with another tenant. Over time, the congregation expanded its use of the building, doubling its physical space between 2004 and 2006. The congregation also broadened its prayer schedule, adding Shabbos morning services seven years after its founding. In 2007, Rabbi Yaakov Dombroff became the synagogue’s rabbi and later was named rabbi emeritus in 2013.
