Gedatsu Church USA

Gedatsu Church USA is a Gedatsu spiritual community with roots dating to 1929, when the first Gedatsu church was founded in Japan by Gedatsu Kongo to embrace a nonsectarian spiritual philosophy. In Sacramento, the church grew after the war through the teachings of Kiyota and the establishment of a shrine to the Universal Life Force, where the first Grand Festival was celebrated and later became a bi-annual event. The Sacramento congregation offers Sunday programs and services and welcomes individuals, families, and friends to study, pray, and express appreciation for the blessings of daily life.
