Baltimore Dharma Group is a Zen Buddhist community founded in 1999 in Baltimore. Shaped by the teaching legacy of Zuijun Esho Gry Gambert Sensei, the group centers its practice on zazen, walking meditation, deep listening, and speaking from the heart. Its regular shared practice includes Sunday morning sitting and service and Thursday evening zazen with Dharma discussion, welcoming both newcomers and committed practitioners. The community maintains affiliation with Reverend Dai-En Bennage of Mount Equity Zendo and holds Dharma connections to the Plum Village tradition and the Zen Peacemakers community, reflecting an approach to Zen grounded in meditation, ethical practice, mindfulness, and compassionate presence.
