Earl Bell Community Center is a historic Jonesboro community center built in 1936 and long recognized as a hub of recreation and entertainment in Northeast Arkansas. Developed through the Young Men’s Civic Club, now known as the Jonesboro Jaycees, the center is located near downtown Jonesboro and major government offices. Renamed in 1984 for Jonesboro Olympic bronze medalist Earl Bell, the building remains noted for its art-deco architecture and for hosting popular community events, including gym-based wrestling matches remembered by local residents.
