Boxerwood Nature Center & Woodland Garden is a nonprofit public garden and nature center in Lexington, Virginia. Operated by the Boxerwood Education Association, it includes a 20-acre arboretum with pathways and trails through five distinct habitats and is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. The garden is open to the public daily from dawn to dusk and is supported by more than 80 volunteers, part-time staff, and two full-time employees. Its work is sustained through interrelated mission-driven endeavors, with proceeds supporting the Woodland Garden and a green cemetery in perpetuity.
