Baltimore Sephardic Center Beit Yaakov Congregation is a Sephardic synagogue in Pikesville, Maryland, founded to serve as an inclusive communal home for Baltimore’s Sephardic community. Created to embrace the breadth of Sephardic life rather than a single cultural tradition, the congregation centers prayer, learning, heritage, and communal life within an Orthodox framework. Under the guidance of Rabbi Emanuel Goldfeiz and with support from the Edmond Safra Foundation, the Sharaby Family Foundation, and other benefactors, the congregation has developed as a place that bridges backgrounds while sustaining Sephardic customs and tradition. Rabbi Goldfeiz’s leadership, teaching, and pastoral presence help shape the congregation’s intellectual and spiritual life through regular shiurim and broad communal engagement.
