Barbell Alliance is a family-owned powerlifting gym in Modesto, California, created to give dedicated strength athletes a sport-specific place to train. Opened in November 2021, the 6,700-square-foot facility is built around serious powerlifting preparation, with equipment from Rogue, Ivanko, Texas Strength Systems, and York Barbell, including calibrated kilogram plates, a combo rack, deadlift bars and power bars, deadlift jacks, chalk bowl, Rogue Westside Bench 2.0 benches with fat pads, and Rogue deadlift platforms. Alongside its focus on meet-ready training, the gym emphasizes community, offering discounts for military personnel, law enforcement, medical workers, and high school students age 16 and older, and working with schools on educational field trips.
