5th Generation Pilates, LLC is an Asheville Pilates studio founded in 2022 by Kara Dillow and centered on the classical Pilates tradition. The studio’s teaching is organized around a direct lineage from Joseph and Clara Pilates through Romana Krysanowska, Bob Liekens, and Juliet Harvey, reflecting a strong emphasis on rigor, continuity, and precise movement education. Dillow, trained by Juliet Harvey as a fourth-generation classical teacher, leads the studio with a focus on disciplined instruction, body awareness, and stewardship of the method. Alongside Pilates instructors Alyssa Jimenez, Riley Ford, Zee Williams, and Nancy Mackintosh, and yoga instructor Debra Walter, the studio maintains an atmosphere of attentive, serious practice devoted to preserving and transmitting classical Pilates.
