Atrium Health Navicent Musculoskeletal Care Orthopedic Trauma provides specialized orthopaedic trauma care in Macon, serving Central Georgia through the region’s only Level 1 Trauma Center. The program focuses on advanced treatment for serious musculoskeletal injuries and is staffed by two fellowship-trained orthopaedic traumatologists. In addition to patient care, it plays a significant academic role as home to Georgia’s only orthopaedic trauma fellowship and through its involvement in medical education with the Mercer University School of Medicine.
